In the first video, the narrator endeavored to captivate the audience with facial expressions, bodily motions, and the use of rhymed storytelling. I found the performance enjoyable due to the comedian’s incorporation of humor and the effective use of physical gestures to narrate the narrative. In the second video, the narrator used voice modulation techniques to enhance the narrative’s level of engagement. Additionally, she used various hand and facial movements, enhancing the narrative’s intrigue. One notable aspect of this storytelling that resonated with me was her deliberate attempt to convey her emotions via the story.

I noticed both tellers use their facial expressions, body movements, and different voice techniques to tell their stories. In the first video, the teller also uses music and onomatopoeia to get the audience’s attention and interest. The second teller uses a lot of voice inflections and body movements to tell her story as well. But it feels like she looking directly get you which helps us stay focused and draws us into what is sayings.

I lovedddd the first story from the music to the dancing to the actual story. I found the second one hard to focus on and listen too i actually put it in 1.5 speed. Thats not to say i didn’t like her story telling its more to speak to how children may respond to story telling as well. I think that im so used to full sending the theatrics that I’ve lost appreciation for story tellers like the second.

What I have noticed from the videos is that in the first video the person uses the music of the guitar to help guide the audience through the story. She incorporates body movements to show actions in the story and uses facial expressions. What the storyteller did was give a comedic appearance in the story. In the second video the storyteller use hand gestures and different voice tones to engage their audience.
